Sun Yi's Academy offers a unique Cardio-Kickboxing program. Our program is designed to utilize every muscle in the body through a combination of martial art punching and kicking techniques with a high-energy aerobic class. While Cardio-kickboxing is not a system of self-defense, it does teach many techniques based upon those taught in our Traditional Tae Kwon Do classes.
Cardio-Kickboxing classes are challenging, rewarding, and exciting. It is not about performing repetitive drills or throwing a few kicks while doing aerobics. It is about challenging you with variety and change in your workout. Exercising your entire body develops powerful punching and kicking techniques. Because of this, it is a highly effective weight regulator through taking unwanted body fat off and increasing lean muscle tone.
Men, women, and children (ages 10yrs. and up) will find our Cardio-Kickboxing classes challenging and motivational as they perform martial arts to music. The benefits of this program are improved self-confidence, stress reduction, and improved physical conditioning.
